Dyllan and I made a trip to the Chiagoland area last weekend for a couple of reasons. The main reason, however, was to attend the Jack & Jill Wedding Shower for my very dear friend Julie and her fiance, JW on Sunday. We decided to make a weekend out of it and spend the day Saturday in the downtown area and then go to a country bar on Saturday evening. We really enjoyed our time together walking around the city, exploring Millennium Park, Navy Pier and eating at a restaurant featured on Food Network's show, Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives!! Chicago snow days was going on the same weekend we were there, so we got to see snow sculptors from around the globe working hard on their works of art! Many of you know that Dyllan and I like to swing dance at a local bar in Iowa. When we walked into the bar in Chicago, a group of about 25 people from the bar that we attend every weekend, had driven over for the weekend to go dancing at that very same bar! It was crazy seeing all of them, but we had a great time!! Enjoy the pictures!
